with him to P. Rigdon| [pg. 20] who said he had "no objection| & did not know why the Lord| should have any. accordingly| with the approbation of Bro| Brigham, who agreed to take| charge of
all our [[family?]]| business, & I was ordained| Monday P.M. 6 o'clock| To a Mission to England| under the hands of Presidents| S. Rigdon & H. Smith.

Walked in company with Brother Brigham to President Hyrum Smith. After closing my business, I enquired if it was my privilege. He replied, "It is, if you wish it."
Walked with him to President Sidney Rigdon, who said he had "no objection and did not know why the Lord should have any." Accordingly, with the approbation of Brother Brigham, who agreed to
take charge of all our family business, I was ordained Monday, P.M., 6 o'clock, to a mission to England under the hands of Presidents Sidney Rigdon and Hyrum Smith.
